Simpsons Seeds participated with a booth at Gulfood 2013 in the Canadian pavilion for the third year. Gulfood is the world’s biggest annual industry show in Dubai; this year round 3,800 exhibitors from over 80 countries and 110 officially represented countries spread across a total 100,000m• of exhibition space made the Gulfood 2013 the most important meeting place for the international food industry in the Middle East with more than 70,000 trade visitors from 152 countries were present.

During Gulfood, we are able to meet with and discuss the needs of many of our current customers, as well as introduce our company to many new potential customers. During these meetings we are able to gain a detailed understanding of how we have been supplying them with good quality Canadian products as well as any changes that we may need to make in order to improve our relationship with them and their ability to market our product in their local markets.

By attending Gulfood, over the past three years, we have increased the presence of our brand and Canadian products in the Middle East and Indian subcontinent markets. Customers now easily recognize the Simpson Seeds brand and associate it with excellent Canadian quality products. The potential customers that stop by the booth recognize this even if they are not currently purchasing from Simpson Seeds. They are aware of our high quality Canadian products that are available in their local markets and mention this often while stopping by our booth. During the exhibition, our booth was visited by many clients, current and potential, from Egypt, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE, Turkey, Spain, South Africa, Ukraine, Czech Republic, France, Algeria, Morocco as well as many others
