Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Simpson Seeds Inc.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts and prayers are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we’re truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Second, at Simpson Seeds Inc as at your companies, we’re focused on the health and safety of our employees, families and communities. Many of our traders, documentation and logistics employees are working remotely. This shift has been relatively smooth and we continue to deliver the highest levels of performance, and availability but with some delays. Thanks in advance for your patience.
Third, even as we deal with this pandemic, our team at Simpson Seeds Inc. remains laser-focused on your needs. While all our businesses are in uncharted territory, Simpson Seeds Inc was built for moments like this, Nourishing the World and delivering on our Brand Promise of quality pulses, shipped on time is even more important for “such a time as this.” Our company was founded on core values – Integrity, Quality, Innovation and Family — and our values are unwavering and continue to guide everything we do.
During this time, we are supporting our communities across the globe through Gleanings, Food Banks and Shelters through philanthropic lentil donations to support our local communities where we live and work.
